Mathias Kruse

I am an assistant professor at the Department of Political Science, Aarhus University, affiliated with the Centre for the Experimental-Philosophical Study of Discrimination (CEPDISC). 

I study group relations in diverse societies, often through the lens of immigration. In my research, I particularly examine how exposure to in- and outgroup members during childhood affects our attitudes and behavior, and I try to unravel some of the causal mechanisms underlying different forms of identity-based biases.

My research has among other things been published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, British Journal of Political Science, and American Journal of Sociology.
